The design and story behind this shirt came out of a conversation with a company where they asked me if I felt I was disabled.
My response to them was "Those are your words. I am adaptive."
Too often we put people into categories which discourage growth. The prefix "dis" means less than. If you tell someone and treat them as an adaptive individual, it brings encouragement and reframes how we communicate with each other where all can excel.
